Recently, I haven't been on DeviantArt because I have been focusing on my AP art portfolio and AP Statistics Test.  Now they are finally done as of last week and I am going to try to be on DA more frequently.  Before I finished my AP Art portfolio I decided  I wanted to post all my finished pieces from it for you guys to see my Concentration, Breadth and Quality pieces.

My concentration is human emotion through portraiture and I try to do this mainly by symbolism and facial expressions.

If you don't know what a concentration, breadth or quality section is for a AP portfolio then here it is.  A Concentration is 12 themed pieces of work.  The theme can be anything from emotions to animals or even surrealism.  A Breadth is 12 pieces that show a variety in a artist.  You don't want a lot of similar pieces in the Breadth section.  Finally, Quality is 5 of your best pieces from your concentration and/or breadth.  Quality pieces you have to send to the AP College board to have them graded.  As of every AP, Art is graded from 1-5, 1 being the worst and 5 being the best.  Hoped that this helped fill in any confusion for anyone that didn't know.

Hey, lately I have been working on my concentration and breadth for AP art.  I have been working on three pieces, completed two and drafted one.  The two that I have complete are up as Abstract Skeleton and A Flower in the Jungle. As for the three unfinished pieces, they are my favorite pieces and I can't wait to finish them! I really can't wait to show everyone everything!
